Purpose

To provide an update on the application of the
Council’s Street Lighting Policy and the status of the asset
group, prior to presenting the Annual Status Report to Cabinet for
approval.

Content

(a)       That the performance
outlined in the street lighting annual status report against the
current street lighting policy be supported; and
 
(b)       That the contents of
the report and the adoption of the Highway Asset Management Plan
and the current arrangements and actions of the portfolio to
maintain the highway network be supported.
