Purpose

To
endorse a refreshed Corporate Parenting Strategy for looked after
children.   The Strategy includes a co-produced
‘Pledge’ for our care experienced children through our
Children’s Services Forum. 

Content

(a)     That
the Committee support the updated Corporate Parenting Strategy;
and

 

(b)     That an
annual update on the Corporate Parenting Strategy and
implementation of the Plan be added to the Committee’s
Forward Work Programme to be presented to a future meeting, with
the report to include case studies.
