The Chair referred to the recent passing of former County Councillor Alison Halford.  He expressed sincere condolences to her family and friends and invited Members to pay their tributes.   Members paid their tributes to Alison Halford and spoke of her experience as a politician in the Welsh Assembly and her previous career, especially in the Police when she became the country’s most senior female police officer in 1983.  Members also spoke of her achievements whilst a member of the Conservative party and said that she was an inspirational and knowledgeable woman who would be sadly missed.
