Purpose
Following a review of Flintshire Connects, the
service responsible for face-to-face customer service, this report
presents three options for the future delivery of the
service.
Content
(a) That the key
findings of public consultation be noted;
(b) That the key
findings of internal stakeholder engagement be noted;
(c) That three
options for the future delivery of Flintshire Connects be
considered;
(d) That Cabinet support
option 3 – a peripatetic model as the preferred model for
future service delivery and supports Flintshire Connects to
introduce the changes as soon as possible in 2025-26;
(e) That the criteria
for determining the location and frequencies of the new community
surgeries be agreed;
(f) That Cabinet
agrees to consult all elected Members on potential locations for
new community surgeries; and
(g) That further
consideration to be given to the financial concerns raised at
Corporate Resources Overview and Scrutiny Committee in relation to
the proposed model.
