Purpose

Following a review
of Flintshire Connects, the service responsible for face-to-face
customer service, this report presents three options for the future
delivery of the service.

Content

That the Committee:
 

(a)     Notes the key
findings of public consultation as outlined in the Executive
Summary Report in Appendix 1;

 

(b)     Notes the key
findings of internal stakeholder engagement as outlined in
paragraph 1.09;

 

(c)     Makes
recommendations to Cabinet on which of the three options for the
future delivery of Flintshire Connects, as outlined in paragraphs
1.14 - 1.16, to adopt;

 

(d)     Supports Option 3
in principle but has concerns regarding the financial and practical
arrangements and that following feedback by the Committee, a
further report addressing those concerns and providing further
information be brought back prior to implementation; and

 

(e)     Notes the
intention to consult all elected Members on the geographic location
of community surgeries.
