Purpose

To provide an update on the operation of the
markets service in Flintshire and to propose amendments to increase
their benefit to Flintshire town centres.

Content

(a)      
That the Council engage with Holywell Town Council and Mold Town
Council with a view to them taking over the markets by March
2026;
 
(b)       If
no agreement was reached by March 2026 both markets (Holywell
Street Market and Mold Car Boot Sale) would be closed;
and
 
(c)        Consideration
be given to the Holywell Street Market holding periodic
markets.
