Purpose

To approve the creation of a SME Manufacturing
Grant funded through the Investment Zone programme

Content

(a)       That the
establishment of the Investment Zone SME Manufacturing Grant be
approved in line with the initial criteria and processes outlined
in the report;
 
(b)       That delegated
authority be given to the Chief Officer (Place and Growth) in
liaison with the Section 151 Officer and the Deputy Leader of the
Council and Cabinet Member for Transformation, Growth and Place to
launch the grant and establish approval processes and management
and monitoring arrangements for its successful operation; and
 
(c)        That delegated
authority be given to the Chief Officer (Place and Growth) in
liaison with the Section 151 Officer and the Deputy Leader of the
Council and Cabinet Member for Transformation, Growth and Place to
review and vary the criteria and delivery arrangements for the
grant to ensure its continued effectiveness in delivering positive
outcomes for Flintshire communities.
