Councillor Connor Wynne of Connah’s Quay
Town Council - who had registered to speak on agenda item 6.1
(FUL/000429/24) - declared a personal and prejudicial interest due
to his parents owning a property bordering the site.  Having been granted dispensation by the Standards
Committee, he was permitted to speak on the application then to
leave the meeting before the item was debated and voted on.
 
Councillor Richard Lloyd declared a personal
interest on agenda item 6.1 (FUL/000429/24) as he had been
contacted on four occasions by a member of Hawarden Community
Council and also due to a family member living on Holywell
Road.
 
Councillor Mike Peers also declared a personal
interest on agenda item 6.1 due to a family member being employed
by Clwyd Alyn Housing Association which had been mentioned during
that item.
 
On agenda item 6.4 (FUL/000778/25), Councillor
Lloyd declared a personal interest as a member of Saltney Town
Council although he had not taken part in the debate when the Town
Council had considered the application. 
He advised that he would vacate the chair for that item in order to
participate as a Committee Member, allowing the Vice-Chair to chair
the item.
