Purpose

To note progress against the initial pilot of
the rollout of ‘Oxford Brain Story’ and the benefits of
a strategic, partnership approach to developing this work.

Content

RESOLVED:
 
(a)       That the findings of
the North Wales Oxford Brain Story evaluation and the positive
impact on early years practice be noted;
 
(b)       That the continued
development and expansion of the Oxford Brain Story pilot across
Flintshire and the wider region be supported;
 
(c)        That the
development of an approach that integrates Oxford Brain Story
training into induction processes for new staff in relevant
frontline roles be endorsed; and
 
(d)       That ongoing
awareness-raising and dissemination of Oxford Brain Story findings
across North Wales services be approved.
