Purpose

Pursuant to an Authorisation from
Council’s Scheme of Delegation: DCS2 - To exercise all other
functions relating to the areas of responsibility of
Children’s Services, Education and Learning except decision
category ADLS 1 to 3 and in relation to the commissioning of
Children’s Services.

That the Executive Director of Children’s Services should
agree to commence a period of stakeholder engagement on the
proposal to bring together Coalway Community Infant School and
Coalway Junior School through the process of extending the age
range of Coalway Junior School and closing Coalway Community Infant
School with effect from 1 April 2026.

That the Executive Director of
