Purpose

contract for the provision of network services for Gloucestershire
County Council

Decision

Cllr Colin Hay sought Cabinet approval
to procure and award a contract for the provision of
network services for Gloucestershire County Council .
 
Having considered all of the
information, Cabinet noted the report and

RESOLVED to:
 
1. Approve without further
competition, the award of a Call-Off Contract for the supply of
Network Services under Lots 1 and 2 of the YPO 01229 - Network
Connectivity and Telecommunication Solutions 2 to the preferred
tenderer, British Telecommunications Public Limited Company (BT),
in accordance with the direct award criteria of the Framework. The
proposed Call-Off Contract shall continue for an initial period of
3 years and include an option to extend its term for a further two
periods of 12 months each.

2. Delegate authority to the
Director, People and Digital Services, in consultation with the
Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Finance, Assets and
Transformation to determine
whether to exercise the options to extend the term of the above
contract for a further period of one year on both its
third and fourth anniversary.
