The Cabinet of Gloucestershire Council decided on 10 June 2026 to delegate authority to the Executive Director of Children’s Services to procure a Light Touch Open Admission Framework agreement. This framework will be used to call-off support services for children with disabilities, floating support, the Holiday Activity Food programme, inclusive services, a crisis and resilience fund, and professional services for children's social care. The framework will run for an initial six years with an option to extend for a further two years.

Sarah Scott, Executive Director of Adult Social Care, Wellbeing and Communities, decided on 17 April 2025 to conduct a mini-competition for adult social care improvement consultancy services. On 19 August 2025, Sarah Scott awarded a contract for these services to Newton Consulting Limited for an initial four months with an option to extend for two months.

Colin Chick, Executive Director of Economy, Environment and Infrastructure, decided on 11 May 2026 to exercise a three-year extension option on the Council's contract with West Mercia Energy for the supply of renewable electricity and gas. This extension commences on 30 September 2026.
