Purpose

Cabinet Decision 24/07/2024 in respect of commissioning Supported Accommodation for 16 & 17 year old looked after children and care leavers through a Framework Agreement.

Decision

Following the conclusion of a competitive procurement process to establish a new multi-supplier open framework agreement for the supply of supported accommodation provision for 16 & 17 year old children in care and also care leavers that will continue for an initial period of 3 years and include an option to extend its term for a further period of 2 years; and following consultation with Cabinet member for Children’s Safeguarding & Care in accordance with the Cabinet Decision dated 24th July 2024:

DECISION?

1. To appoint each of the preferred tenderers to the above open framework agreement.

1. In accordance with rules of this framework agreement, to reopen the framework at such intervals as are considered appropriate during its term for the purpose of admitting new suppliers and/or, where applicable, removing or re-assessing existing suppliers,

To procure and award as many call-off contracts for the provision of supported accommodation services under the above open framework agreement as may be required according to the needs of children in care where this is the appropriate service. The term and value of each such call-off contract shall be determined by the length of the required period in care for each individual child.
