Purpose

Following the conclusion of a competitive procurement process
in respect of a contract for the supply of highway works in
connection with the delivery of Phase 2, B4008 Standish MultiUser Path (the “Scheme”) (Crowcumpill Cottage access to
Black bridge access track) and having consulted with the
Cabinet Member for Sustainable Transport & Road Safety (as
successor to the Cabinet Member for Environment and
Planning) in accordance with the Cabinet Member decision on
8 October 2024:
DECISION
To award a contract for the supply of the highway works
described above to the preferred tenderer, namely Alun
Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd.
Note - Phase 1 of the Standish Multi-User Path (farm access to
Crowcumpill Cottage) was subject to a previous executive
officer decision and was completed in summer 2025 (link in
background documents).
