Purpose

The size of the team means there are no adequate spaces available within Tootal Buildings to host the away day.

HOME Theatre has the room space and availability to accommodate the team on the day and only allows in-house catering, provided by Wardley Limited, which means no other external providers are available to us. The total cost of the room hire is £534.38, and the total cost of the catering is £506.67. Total = £1,041.05.

The away day is an opportunity for the Safer and Stronger Communities Team to improve their communication and working relationships in order to ensure better outcomes and performance as a team and to support delivery of the Greater Manchester Police and Crime Plan. The aim of the day is to look at what is working well and barriers/solutions to effective working relationships.

Decision

£534.38 is paid to HOME Theatre, Manchester for room hire and £506.67 paid to Wardley Limited for catering on 19th June 2026 for the Safer and Stronger Communities Away Day.
