Purpose

The size of the team means there are no adequate spaces available within Tootal Buildings to host the away day.

The Studio, Manchester has the room space and availability to accommodate the team on the day and only allows in-house catering, which means no other external providers are available to us.

The away day is an opportunity for the Safer and Stronger Communities Team to improve their communication and working relationships in order to ensure better outcomes and performance as a team and to support delivery of the Greater Manchester Police and Crime Plan. The aim of the day is to look at what is working well and barriers/solutions to effective working relationships.

Decision

£1,398.25 is to be paid to The Studio, Manchester for room hire and catering on 25th September 2026 for the Safer and Stronger Communities Away Day.
