Purpose

The Services are provided using the Warm Homes: Local Grant funding which provides grants to low-income households living in privately owned properties for energy performance improvements and low carbon heating improvements with the aim of achieving energy bill savings and carbon savings.

The suppliers selected were the highest scoring suppliers for each area on the GMCA Net Zero Housing Retrofit Framework Agreement.

Decision

To appoint 4 suppliers through the GMCA Net Zero Housing Retrofit Framework Agreement for the provision of retrofit project management and installations to privately owned residential properties in Greater Manchester under the GM Warm Homes: Local Grant.

Alternative options considered

Alternative option would have been a competition which would have duplicated work undertaken when creating the GMCA Net Zero Housing Retrofit Framework Agreement. It would also have taken additional time to complete, which would delay the implementation of the grant scheme.
