1.   
Agreed in accordance with CSO 22.3.2 (d) to award a
contract without competition on the basis that there is an absence
of competition for technical reasons, to Choice Support  (Community Benefit Society
registration  number 9045) for the
provision of residential services for adults with learning
disabilities commencing on 1st April 2025 and ending on
31st March 2026.  The value
of the 12 month contractual period is £1,231,935.
 

2.   
Noted that a competitive procurement exercise will
take place in good time prior to the expiry date of this new
agreement.

Noted the proposed resolution of the property issue.
Negotiations with the NHS are now completed and the decision to
purchase the property (alongside 4 other smaller properties
providing similar services) was made at the Cabinet meeting on the
29th  January
2025.
