Noted progress that has been
made in relation to the proposed disposal of the Margaret Macmillan
Field Studt Centre Wrotham Kent TN15 7JN( “the
Site”).
 
Noted bids that have been
received for the purchase of the site as set out in Appendix
A.
 
Recommended to Council
that  disposal of the site be agreed,
subject to Heads of Terms in Exempt Appendix B.
 
Noted the recommendation of the
Charities Report provided in Exempt Appendix C.
 
Agreed to treat the information
presented in Appendices A,B and C as exempt under the provisions of
the Local Government Act 1972, Schedule 12A, and that this
information is not subsequently released to the press or
public.
 
Agreed that in the event that
the transaction with the identified buyer does not proceed, that
Council Officers are authorised to go back to the market to secure
another buyer.
 
Recommended to Full Council
that if the property has to be remarketed, to delegate the process
for disposal and the terms of any disposal to the Director of Place
and Growth.
