Purpose

To award contractor to supply,
install and carry out repairs to fire doors across council’s
housing stock

Content

1.           
Granted approval to proceed with a competitive
tender procedure in accordance with Contract Standing Order (CSO)
15.2 to procure a contractor for undertaking the supply,
installation, and maintenance of fire doors in Council properties
on a boroughwide basis.
 
2.           
Noted that the estimated contract value is up to
£4,000,000 (£4m) (excluding VAT), which is below the
threshold for works contracts under the Procurement Act 2023 (PA
2023).
 
3.           
Noted that the contract duration would be five (5)
years from the commencement date (estimated to be 1st
October 2025).
 
4.           
Noted that an approval to award decision will be
sought following the conclusion of the tender evaluation in
accordance with CSO 17.2.
