Approval to Proceed to Tender
to procure Parking’s CCTV Contract

Content

1.           
Approved the
procurement of the Supply, Installation, Management and Maintenance
of Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) cameras via mini
competition from Lot 8 of the Eastern Shires Procurement
Organisation (ESPO) Framework 628 in accordance with Contract
Standing Order (CSO) 15.2 (Above National Threshold in the Table)
and CSO 18.3(c) (competition through an approved Framework) of
RBG’s Contract Standing Orders.
 
2.           
Noted that another
report will be required to approve the award and enter into a
contract with the winning tenderer following the procurement
process.
 
3.           
Noted that CCTV
cameras will be purchased as and when required by the said
departments and schools in question throughout the life of the
contract.
 
4.           
Noted that the
contract will be for a total period of 3 Years with an option to
extend for a further 2 years.
 
5.           
Noted the total
maximum value of the contract for the entire 5-year contract period
is £7,800,000.00.
