Purpose

To agree that the Council
enters a contract with the Local London Sub-Regional Partnership
(LLP), to deliver the ‘Connect to Work Programme (grant
allocation £5.4m) and the ‘Improving Economic Activity
Trailblazer’ (grant allocation £882,280)

Content

1.           
Agreed to accept the indicative grant allocations of
£5.470,632, for Connect to Work Programme (CtW) and
£882,280 for the Improving Economic Activity (IEA)Trailblazer
programme.

 
2.           
Entered a grant agreement with the Local London
Sub-Regional Partnership (LLP), to deliver the ‘Connect to
Work Programme (CtW)’ in the Royal Borough of Greenwich, with
a grant allocation of £5.4m, the basis of which is summarised
in Section 4 of the report.
 
3.           
Agreed that the Council enters a contract with the
LLP to deliver the DWP ‘Improving Economic Activity
(IEA)’ Trailblazer programme in the Royal Borough of
Greenwich, with a grant allocation of £882,280, the basis of
which is summarised in Section 4 of the report
 
4.           
Noted the benefits of delivering the CtW and IEA
Trailblazer Programmes, and potential risks, and how these will be
mitigated in Section 9 under ‘Risk
Management’.

 
5.           
Delegated authority to the Director for Place and
Growth in  consultation with Cabinet
Member for Inclusive Economy, Business and Skills and the Section
151 Officer to determine detailed use of the grant or make any
subsequent amendments to the proposed budget allocations as may be
triggered by the Department of Work and Pensions, and or Local
London Subregional Partnerships in respect to wider changes
throughout the programme period.
