Purpose

To approve the procurement
strategy so that tenders can be sought for Damp and Mould
Works.

Content

1.           
Granted approval to proceed with a competitive
tender procedure in accordance with Contract Standing Order (CSO)
15.2 to procure a contractor for undertaking all aspects of damp,
mould and condensation works on a boroughwide basis.
 
2.           
Noted that a Contract Award Decision will be sought
following the conclusion of the tender evaluation in accordance
with CSO 17.2.
 
3.           
Noted that the estimated contract value is up to
£4,400,000 (£4.4m) (excluding VAT), which is below the
threshold for works contracts under the Procurement Act 2023 (PA
2023).
 
4.           
Noted that the estimated contract period would be
three (3) years from the contract commencement date.
 
5.           
Noted that a risk assessment was undertaken in
accordance with CSO 16.2.2 using the Greenwich Risk Assessment
Process (GRAP), which determined that this procurement is low
risk.
