Purpose

To note responses to the public
consultation and; To decide whether to proceed with the scheme and
progress to detailed design: and to agree in principle to the
appropriation of housing land for use as highway to facilitate the
delivery of the scheme.

Content

1.           
Agreed the indicative design for the section of the
Greenwich to Woolwich Cycle route, between the Creek Road bridge
and the Old Royal Naval College, including the relocated
playspace.
 
2.           
Noted and consider the outcome of, and
representations received in response to, the public consultation
and stakeholder engagement which have informed the design of the
route and relocated playspace to date.
 
3.           
Agreed that highways officers proceed with the
detailed design of the route and relocated playspace in
consultation with the Council’s Housing
Department.
 
4.           
Agreed that highways officers proceed with the
construction of the route and relocated playspace according to the
approved detailed design, subject to approval of detailed design
and the making of associated traffic order(s).
