Content

1.           
Agreed to the increase of contract value to Standage
& Co Ltd (company registration number 00345675) for Completion
of Repairs and Improvements to Various Cemetery Chapels from
£797,698.13 to £1,191,356.43.
 
2.           
Noted that this contract was originally awarded for
a period of 40 weeks from 22 July 2024. It was extended without
compliance with the Council’s Contract Standing Orders
(“CSOs”) from 29 April 2025 to the date this report is
signed by the Chief Officer.
 
3.           
Authorised the extension of the contract to Standage
& Co Ltd from the date of this report to 13 March
2026.
 
4.           
Noted the contract modifications are permissible
under the Council’s CSOs Part 2 item 25 Modifications
(Variations and Extensions) to existing contracts.
 
5.           
Agreed to commit additional funds of
£393,658.30 for the project from the corporate planned
maintenance capital budget
