Purpose

1.           
Granted approval to proceed with a competitive
tender procedure in accordance with Contract Standing Order (CSO)
15.2 to procure a contractor for undertaking drainage works on a
boroughwide basis.

Noted that a Contract Award Decision will be sought
following the conclusion of the tender evaluation in accordance
with CSO 17.2

Noted that the total estimated contract value is up
to £3,000,000 (£3m) (excluding VAT) over four (4) years
(equivalent to £750,000 per annum), which is below the
threshold for works contracts under the Procurement Act 2023 (PA
2023).

Noted that the contract will run for an initial
period of 3 years with the option to extend the contract period by
a further one (1) year making possible a total contract period of
four (4) years.
