1.       Noted the receipt of
the Wrapround Childcare Programme Grant (WCPG) of £532,943.30
(Five hundred and thirty-two thousand, nine hundred and forty-three
pounds and thirty pence only) in total that has been agreed by the
Department for Education (DfE) in line with a delivery plan to
increase the supply of wraparound childcare for primary school aged
children.
 
2.       Authorised the
utilisation of the sum of £89,035.00 through the grant awards
to the providers set out in Table 1 of Appendix 1.
 
3.       Noted that the grant
awards from the WCPG listed in Table 2 have already been awarded to
the providers.
 
4.       Delegated
authorisation to the Director of Children’s Services (DCS) to
award future grants from the WCPG . These awards will be made
through a bidding process conditional on the entering into of grant
agreements to enable the Council to deliver its childcare
sufficiency duties within Greenwich.
