Content

Approved a direct award to
Single Homeless Project (SHP) 01741926 to provide accommodation
based support for young people aged 16-24, including care leavers
and Children In Our Care (CIOC).
 
Noted that a contract to the
Single Homeless Project (Company number: 01741926) was awarded from
1st September 2025 to the date of this report without compliance
with the CSOs.
 
As permitted under CSO 22.3.1
agreed that the direct award can be made to the value of
£1,506,532.50 over a 18 month period, from the date of this
report to 28th February 2027.
 
Noted that the request to offer
a direct award to SHP for 18 months  due
to SHP being the only identified provider able to deliver the
service at the current time and to allow sufficient time for the
Housing Commissioning Team, to carry out a full review of the Young
People’s supported Housing Pathway, including a comprehensive
Needs Analysis, in partnership with Children’s Services, and
to design and re-tender for new contracts to deliver an improved
service for Young People who are homeless or in housing
need.
