1.Approved a direct award under
CSO 16.5 and 16.7 under the KCS Framework to Capita Business
Services Limited (company no:02299747) (“Capita”) for
the SaaS hosting and continued maintenance of the Revenues and
Benefits application (“Academy”).
 
2.Noted the duration of the
contract is for 7 years commencing 1st April 2024 to
31st March 2031. In addition, there will be a period of
data migration activities to the Capita cloud commencing
1st October 2023 to May 2024.
 
3.Noted the following costs
associated with the contract:

4.Noted that the annual costs
include a provision for additional licences to the value of
£30,000 per annum to be purchased as and when required by the
services throughout the contract term.
 
5.Noted that the annual charges
may be subject to an adjustment each calendar year by a percentage
equal to the average percentage increase in the Consumer Price
Index (“CPI”) published by the Office of National
Statistics during the 12-month period immediately prior to
1st January of the relevant calendar year. Therefore,
expected budgets to be aligned every year to accommodate this
increase.
 
6.Noted that the total contract
cost is: £1,666,550.00
 
7.Noted that the approval of
this contract is deemed critical to ensure continued running of the
application software for the Revenues and Advice & Benefits
services.
