1.           
Agreed
the award a contract as permitted under Contract Standing Order 18
to Eleanor Nursing and Social Care Limited (company number 4393038)
for the provision of Social Care in Prisons commencing on 1st April
2024 and ending on 31st March 2027 with a maximum two-year
extension period to 31st March 2029. The value of the 5-year
contractual period excluding VAT is £1,592,681.

 

2.       Agreed the award a
contract as permitted under Contract Standing Order 18 to St
Georges Home Care Ltd (company number 09795399) for the provision
of Social Care in Prisons as a reserve contract which may only be
enacted should Eleanor Nursing and Social Care Limited be unable to
deliver the contract at any point during the duration of the
contract.

 

3.       Noted the contract will
commence on 1st April 2024 and ending on 31st March 2027 with a
maximum two-year extension period to 31st March 2029 as a reserve,
being the same duration as the new contract.

 

4.       Noted the maximum value of
the reserve contract for the 5-year term excluding VAT will not
exceed £1,572,396.13 and will be dependent on the term
remaining on the contract for which services are
required.

 

5.       Further noted that the
reserve contract will only be used if the services cannot be
delivered by Eleanor Care so there will only be one supplier
providing the services at any time.
