Executive Shareholder and Trustee Committee

The Executive Shareholder and Trustee Committee manages the Council's responsibilities as a shareholder in companies and as a trustee for charities. It reviews reports and accounts from these organisations and handles company and charity business as needed. The committee's decisions are guided by legislation such as the Companies Act 2006 and Charities Act 2011, and relevant regulatory guidance. Only members of the Council's Executive can participate, with the Leader and Deputy Leader serving as Chairman and Vice-Chairman.
