decision to authorise the Council to extend
the main Grave Digging Contract ("the Contract") for a further
period of 6 months in line with clause 2.2 of the Contract. The
additional fees for the 6 month extension period will still keep
the overall contract value below the £50,000 cap stated in
the Contract.

Reasons for the decision

Current Contract ending March 2024. The
extension is to fulfil works and is required due to resourcing,
allowing time to enter into procurement exercise for ongoing Grave
digging contract for October 2024 onwards
