The Council has received a request to grant
the lease of Land to the south of Chester Road and the Land
adjacent to 7 & 7a Chester Road, Effingham for the purpose of
grazing 2 domestic horses belonging to the Grantee only, in line
with the following terms and conditions:

The lease will be granted to the current owner of 7 Chester Road,
Effingham.

The Grantee has agreed to pay £1,150 per annum (previously
£1,025 pa) plus our costs, which in accordance with the
Council’s General Disposal Consent powers, provides the
‘best consideration reasonably obtainable’ where the
proposed term exceeds seven (7) years.

The Grantee will be required to obtain our approval for an agreed
term of 2 years from the date of completion of the lease subject to
a mutual option to break on giving one months’ notice.

The Grantee will be responsible for erecting and maintaining fences
and gates to the fields.
