The Council is undertaking a procurement
exercise to appoint a Development Partner to deliver the Guildford
Park scheme. Recent staffing departures from the Housing department
mean that there is insufficient capacity within the remaining team
to adequately resource the upcoming competitive dialogue process
for GPR. It is proposed to make a specific appointment of an
experienced housing professional to fulfil this role and represent
the HRA’s interests throughout this process. The Council will
enter into a contract with Savills to provide this resource. This
will be a direct award.
