Purpose

Contact Point is a magazine provided to all
GBC leaseholders and tenants. It is published 3 times per year,
Spring, Summer & Winter and is loaded on to our website for
access. A small number of magazines are printed, some are posted to
those residents that don't have access to the internet and the rest
are distributed to customers and relevant organisations at events
and from The Hive.

The contract with the current supplier expires on 31st December
2023, and had previously been extended so a new 3 year contract
with the option to extend 2 years was required.
Quotes were submitted from 3 organisations.

Content

The decision has been made to use the
contractor, Up North Communications; they provided professional
written quotations and additional costs were clearly set out and
they understood the requirements for the document to be made
accessible. All elements of the request were met in their proposal
with the cost being comparable to one other quote. The other quote
was substantially higher than the other two.
