Purpose

The Safer Guildford Partnership has a
statutory duty to respond to Domestic Homicide Reviews.

A new Domestic Homicide Review was received in 2021, which led to
an independent Chair being commissioned to carry out the review on
our behalf.

The review was delayed due to an ongoing Police investigation and
so has not yet been completed.

It is therefore necessary to extend the independent Chair's
contract, so that they can complete the review.

The decision is to extend the DHR Chair's
contract, so they can complete the Domestic Homicide Review as
required.
