Purpose

Executive will consider if the Council should
conduct a Community Governance Review in respect of the the future
governance of the unparished area of Guildford Town. If agreeable,
Executive will forward to full Council to consider approval of
draft terms of reference.

Content

Decision:

(1)    
That
the Executive agrees to make a recommendation to Council that a
Community Governance Review be undertaken in respect of the
unparished urban area of
Guildford.

(2)    
That
the terms of reference for a Community Governance Review set out at
Appendix 1 to this report, be recommended to Council for
approval.
Reason(s):
To
enable the Executive to decide whether it should recommend to full
Council that a Community Governance Review should be undertaken in
respect of the unparished urban area of Guildford.
