To appoint an interim Air Conditioning
contractor for AC systems at Millmead and the Crematorium. This
contract is likely to only be required for a couple of weeks,
whilst the permanent contract is put in place with a procured
contractor.

Reasons for the decision

To ensure critical maintenance and service
requirements for AC systems at Millmead and the Crematorium are
met. This is to prevent any major incidents such as with servers at
Millmead and other vital needs of the Crematorium.

Alternative options considered

To use the contractor who has been procured
for the permanent contract, however they are not set up on systems
and an immediate cover for these services is required.
