Following the completion of the Reptile
Receptor site on land which the Council owns off Jacobs Well Road,
and the relocation of allotment tenants at Bellfields Allotments,
the reptiles found to be on the allotment site now need to be
relocated to the Receptor site to facilitate the start on site of
Phase 1 of Development at Weyside Urban Village. The works include
erecting reptile proof fencing, habitat manipulation at the
Receptor site, trapping over a period of 70 days and destructive
searching. Work to take 12 weeks.
