Due to restructure and return of the Case team
staff to the parking office, a short term cleaning contract is
required up to 12 months, to ensure the environment is fit for
purpose. A procurement was carried out to fulfil this.

Reasons for the decision

An office has been re-opened and formal
cleaning arrangements are required. This can not be fulfilled
internally and therefore a short term (3-12 months) contract is
required until GBC do a wider Corporate procurement for all
sites.

Alternative options considered

Looked to see if could be 1-fulfiled
internally but not possible, 2-utilise existing contracts already
in place, not possible due to wider corporate procurement due to
take place.
