To appoint a contractor providing demolition
services necessary to enable project delivery.

Alternative options considered

1. Don't appoint a contractor:
- The Council does not have in-house resource to carry out
demolition and construction to deliver the project.
2. Consider multiple contractors via competitive tender:
- Competitive tender exercise was carried out with 5 invited
bidders.
- The selected bidder was selected based on evaluation of quality
and price.
