The freeholder of 59 North Side, The Cardinals
has requested permission to install a dropped kerb, crossing and
hardstanding at the property.
Permission has been obtained from Surrey County Council for the
dropped kerb.
The freeholder is required to enter into a licence to allow them
permission to construct a crossing over Council owned land and a
hardstand on the grass frontage of 59 North Side, which is owned by
the Council to enable them to park one privately owned motor
car.
They will be paying for the Council’s Legal costs and Estate
Management Consent Fee for Alterations, along with the cost of the
Licence Plan and work itself.
Reasons for the decision
The freeholder’s wife is disabled and
required parking close to the house, therefore it was agreed that
the Council would grant permission for the freeholder to construct
a hardstand on Council land to assist with accessibility
needs.
