Decision:
1.    
Approve the Executive Working Groups as set out in
Appendix 1, along with their terms of reference for
2025-26.
2.    
Approve the Advisory Boards are set out as an
Appendix 1 to this report, along with
their terms of reference 2025-26.
3.    
To note the proposed Executive Working Group
Protocol as set out in Appendix 2
4.    
To agree the proposed standard template for
ToR and agree the reviewed TORs (set
out in appendices 3-7) for adoption by the respective
groups.
 
Reason(s):
1.      
A review of Executive Working Groups at Guildford
Borough Council has been undertaken, to ensure best value, robust
governance, and transparency for residents through efficient and
effective Executive Working Group and Advisory Boards
arrangements.  Those Executive Working
Groups and Boards which will be continuing, a revised ToR has been created to ensure they do still
provide the best value for residents.
 
2.      
Some Executive Working Groups are proposed to be
dissolved because they fulfilled their purpose, helping us continue
to deliver the best value to residents.
