GBC was successful in winning grant funding
via Surrey Hills FiPL bid to undertake Targeted tree and soil
health treatments on the internationally important population of
ancient and veteran yews on Merrow Downs. We will enter a contract
with Treecosystems Ltd to undertake these works worth £12,174
and will recover the majority of the costs from the grant.

Reasons for the decision

To implement works that will help secure the
future of internationally important trees under GBC's care.
