Content

To approve the award of Asbestos Testing and
Removals Services contract to PA Group UK Limited for an initial
period of three years with an option to extend by up to two years
(one year + one year), at a cost of £1,485,165 (one million,
four hundred eighty-five thousand, one hundred and sixty-five
pounds).

Reasons for the decision

This is a compliance contract which is
required at Guildford.

Alternative options considered

Do nothing – this option was dismissed
as this would have a financial impact on the Council.
