The Council leases-in an asset known as Onslow
Park & Ride from the University of Surrey. The University have
a right under the lease allowing them to terminate the lease
agreement if the demised car park is not used by the Council for a
period of 12 months. The car park has not been in beneficial use
for 12 months and the Council is not looking to contest the
Universities’ right to terminate this lease.
