The purpose of this procurement exercise is to
renew the existing software licence with Flexiroute (a platform for
our transport management system) to ensure continued access to the
essential software used at The Hive, that supports the operational,
compliance and service delivery requirements for Community Meals,
Community Transport and Day Centre services which sits within the
Communities Directorate.
3+1 contract considered most suitable. Contract value
breakdown:
Year 1: £16,664.36
Year 2: £16,664.36
Year 3: £16,664.36
Optional Year 4: £16,664.36

Reasons for the decision

A direct award has been recommended as this
supplier has been used for a number of years, and is very specific
to the services offered in Community Services. It provides
automated route planning and real-time tracking of journeys, as
well as storage of all customer information and vulnerable persons
data.
