A cyclical inspection of trees at Chilworth
Gunpowder Mills identified some as posing an intolerable risk of
injury to persons or property. Tree surgery work is needed to
reduce the risk of harm.
Three contractors were asked to provide quotes and Benton
Arboriculture offered the best value for money.

Reasons for the decision

To comply with the councils duty of care with
regards to the risk posed by trees.
