- To note the comments arising from the Overview and Scrutiny Committee meeting on 20 January 2026 as set out in the Supplementary Agenda Pack.
- To recommend that Council at the Budget meeting on 11 February 2026 resolves:
(a) To increase the weekly rent for Council dwellings by 4.8% from the 2025/26 weekly rent charges, effective from 1 April 2026, within the permitted guidelines contained within the Government’s rent setting policy.
(b) To approve a 4% increase be applied to garage rents, which is in line with the wider Council policy on fees and charges.
(c) To approve the proposed HRA revenue budget for 2026/27, as set out in Appendix 2 to the report.
(d) To approve the fees and charges for HRA services for 2026/27, as set out in Appendix 4 to the report.
(e) To approve the HRA capital programmes as shown in Appendices 5 and 6 to the report.
