Purpose

To review progress in Q1 and Q2 towards this
year’s Corporate Delivery Plan and to consider and adopt the
Corporate Delivery Plan for 2025/26.

Content

Decision:

1.      To
note the progress made in Q1 and Q2 towards achieving the actions
set out within the 2025/26 Delivery Plan, as set out in Appendix 1
to this report.

2.      To
note the engagement with and observations made by members of the
Overview and Scrutiny Committee set out in paragraph 14.

3       To adopt the 2026/27
Corporate Delivery Plan, as set out in Appendix 2 of this
report.

4.      To delegate authority to
the Joint Assistant Director for Strategy and Corporate Services,
in consultation with the Leader of the Council, to make any
necessary minor typographical or design changes prior to
publication.
 
Reason(s):
1.           
To ensure councillors, partners and residents are
kept informed about the Council’s progress in delivering the
commitments outlined within the 2025/26 Delivery Plan.
2.           
To adopt the Corporate Delivery Plan 2026/27 which
outlines the Council’s key strategic projects and actions
that it will undertake to deliver the priorities set out within the
Corporate Strategy ahead of Local Government
Reorganisation.
